Skoda is also going to launch Octavia facelift and Superb facelift in India very soon.

Skoda is known for its performance, Premiumness and great build quality. ENYAQ somewhat looks like the Skoda KODIAQ only from exterior and body shape wise, but the major difference is that ENYAQ is an electric car unlike Skoda KODIAQ.

ENYAQ will be successful in Indian automobile market if the price range will be fair enough other than that there is no issue. If this product will get good response Skoda will launch other electric cars too in India.

THAR 5 DOOR NEW FEATURES

Mahindra is going to launch THAR 5 Door which may be named as Armada. Let’s explore THAR 5 DOOR NEW FEATURES which are different from regular 3-Door THAR:-

EXTERIOR CHANGES

●Now there will be fully LED headlight unit in top model which was just a Yellow Halogen Headlamp earlier.

●There is also feature of front parking sensors.

●360 Degree View Camera.

●You get a good sized sunroof in hardtop variant of the car, it is not a panoramic roof but still is most demanding feature. The size of the sunroof is like of SCORPIO-N.

●New design of the grille which looks more broad and long.

●There will be 2 engine options:-2.2L Diesel Engine and 2.0L mStallion petrol engine. The power and torque will increase from the normal 3-Door THAR.

●Latest style diamond cut alloy wheels of 19-Inch (255-60-R19) in top model and 18-Inch basic style wheels in its base model or middle model.

●The placement of door handle of rear door is in sideways style like MARUTI Suzuki Swift Rear Door.

●Earlier the fuel lid used to open by the key only but now it will be automatic and can be opened from inside the car only by a button.

●Rear wiper and defogger

●Different styled tail light

●Both options are available 4 by 4 and 4 by 2 (RWD) also.

●No ADAS Features is there in the car.

INTERIOR CHANGES

●Dual tone interior of Chocolate Brown colour and Black colour like SCORPIO-N.

●It has proper 3 seats in the middle row with an armrest also in it.

●The colour of the seat is in dark black colour and is of leather material. The space, comfort and seating position had improved a lot

●Auto-Dimming IRVMs

●Touch screen infotainment system like XUV 400

●Steering wheel is like Scorpio-N moreover in Z6 variant of Scorpio-N

●The Instrument cluster is also now fully digital like XUV 700

●Keyless entry and push button start

●Rear AC vents

●Type C port for charging mobile phones

●The suspension will be most probably like the Scorpio-N only.

●Good boot space then earlier 3 Door THAR.

●Safety have also been improved as there will be 6 airbags now and earlier also THAR scored 5 star safety ratings in crash test

●Most probably it will come in 5-Seater option only and not in 7-seater option

●Colour options are:- Napoli Black, Red Rage, Galaxy Grey, Aqua Marine and Everest White.

●But in my personal opinion old THAR will be much better offroader then this 5 door THAR because of its weight, length and driving dynamics but the comfort and power of the 5 door THAR will me much better always.

●Now THAR will be much of a Family oriented car with all necessary features and comfort.

The length, width and height of the car is Insane. It now looks more Bulky, Bigger and Aggressive than usual

Now it looks more like a Jeep Wrangler

●The expected estimated price may be around 15 Lakhs-25 Lakhs Ex showroom (Approx.)

The car is expected to launch in the middle of 2024.

●The demand and hype of the car is increasing day by day in India. Thar 3-Door is also a very successful product of Mahindra. The major problem which may arise is about the waiting period as in Mahindra cars there is a huge waiting period like in Mahindra XUV 700. Usually these waiting period is about 6 months to 1-1.5 years which is a lot time. People can’t wait that long so if you are really interested in this car book it in first lot only whenever the bookings open.

Also after that the price of the car can also increase as it was observed earlier also Mahindra increased the price of XUV 700 and Scorpio-N AFTER some time of the launch.

NEW TRAFFIC RULES AND REGULATION IN 2024

Some new rules have been introduced in 2024 and some have changes in the earlier rules and regulations. Let’s check these NEW TRAFFIC RULES AND REGULATION IN 2024 and various changes:-

First rules and regulation is related to Overloading in 2-Wheelers. Earlier there were only overloading rules and regulations related to commercial vehicles like Truck, Tractors etc..

Now overloading in Bike, Scooter and Scooty is not allowed whether it is related to goods or persons as some people carry more then two people in their 2 wheeler.

The penalties or Challan for this crime is of Rs 2,000 and the driving license will also get suspended for about 3-Months.

Next rules and regulation is related to displaying Applied For (A/F) in new vehicles. Until now there was no rule regarding this but from now on there will be a challan of Rs4,500 on this.

When people buy there new vehicle, the dealer or showroom does not give number plate on the time of delivery but now in most of the cases the showroom have to give the number plate on the delivery day itself.

Next rules and regulation is about not obeying the orders of Traffic Authorities and staff. It means that many people don’t stop there vehicle when traffic police tries to stop them and try to escape from them. It also covers misbehaving and not obeying them. There is a challan of Rs 2,000 on this.

Next rules and regulation is related to minor riding and driving, its for children below 18 years of age who drive or ride. There are few changes then earlier rules and regulations related to minor riding and driving.

There are 5 types of penalties in this case:-

1)Minor Challan- Rs5,000

2)Owner Challan-Rs25,000

3)Legal Action- May be sentenced to 3 Years of Prison

4)Registration of the vehicle may get cancelled for 1 year.

5)The minor who got caught will not be eligible for the driving license till 25 years of age.

Next rules and regulation is that now according to Section 183, 184, 185, 189, 190, 194C, 194D, 194E of Motor Vehicles Act, Now officials or Authorities can also seize or suspend other documents of the vehicle like Insurance, RC, Driving License and much more.

Next Rules and regulation is related to headlight of the vehicle. The headlight of the vehicle should be in working condition and the bulb should not be fused as it will make it difficult to drive at night because of which more and more accidents will take place.

Next rules and regulation is related to the helmet strap for 2-Wheelers. There is a challan of around Rs1,000 for not wearing helmet and if you are wearing helmet but had not closed the strap of the helmet then also you may be fined for Rs1,000 According to section 194D of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Next rules and regulation is related to signal jump by the vehicles. This rule was implemented earlier also but now it has become more strict now the fine is from Rs1,000-5000.

Earlier there was 500-1,000Rs challan for over-speeding and rash driving but now you have to pay around 2,000Rs fine for Medium and heavy vehicles. For Light Motor Vehicle its about 1,000Rs challan.

For Drink and Drive earlier there was less amount of penalties and fines but now if you got caught by the authorities you have to bear challan of around Rs10,000 and 6 months of prisonment.

In some states sunshades and curtains on car windows are also not allowed as there is no visibility of the passengers.

1) HYUNDAI EXTER S AMT- Good space priced at 10 lakhs ex-showroom comes with 1.2L Petrol Engine producing 83 BHP and 144NM of torque. Exter has 5- speed automatic gearbox. From base variant only it have 6- airbags which makes it more safer also.

2) NISSAN MAGNITE XV AMT- Some people can consider Magnite as an underpowered car as it comes with only 1L petrol engine producing 71 BHP and 96Nm of Torque.

3) TATA PUNCH ACCOMPLISHED AMT-Punch comes with 1.2L 3 cylinder petrol engine producing 86 BHP and 115NM of torque. It Have an ARAI mileage of 18.8 kmpl.

4) RENAULT KIGER RXT (O) AMT- KIGER have small engine of 1L 3 cylinder petrol engine producing 71 BHP and 96NM of torque. It Have an ARAI mileage of 19 kmpl. It may feel under power to some people.

5) RENAULT TRIBER 7-SEATER RXT EASY-R AMT- Triber have a benefit as it come with 7 seater option. It comes with 1L,3 cylinder petrol engine producing 71 BHP and 96NM of torque. It Have an ARAI mileage of 18.2 kmpl.

6) Maruti Suzuki FRONX DELTA PETROL AUTOMATIC price starts from 10 lakhs comes with dual tone interior and 1.2L petrol engine producing 90 BHP and 113NM of torque.

HATCHBACKS

1) MARUTI SUZUKI IGNIS Alpha AMT- Ignis have a better suspension then other small hatchbacks. Mileage is about 14-16 in city and 18-20 on highway. But have less sales and resale value also.

2) TATA TIAGO ZXA Plus AMT- Safest hatchback having 4-star crash test ratings. But gear shifting of Tiago is not as smooth as Hyundai. Mileage in city is about 12-13kmpl and on highway its about 15-17 kmpl.

3) MARUTI SUZUKI WAGONR ZXI PLUS comes with 1.2L petrol variant producing 82BHP and 113NM of torque. ARAI Mileage is about 18-20kmpl.

4) RENAULT KWID CLIMBER AMT-KWID have a stylish and unique automatic gear which is round in shape like a knob. It also has better space and ground clearance but low resale value and less after sales services then Maruti Suzuki.

5) MARUTI SUZUKI BALENO- Premium interior and exteriors with cool features like 360 degree camera, heads up display and much more. Baleno have 1.2L petrol engine producing 90BHP and 113NM of torque.

6) MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT ZXI AMT-Most popular hatchback. Swift have a good resale value and low service cost as well. But is not that great in terms of safety.

7) HYUNDAI GRAND i10 SPORTZ AMT- NIOS have Smooth gear shifts in Automatic. It comes with 4 cylinder 1.2L engine having 12-14 in city and 18-20 on highway.

8) MARUTI SUZUKI CELERIO ZXI PLUS AMT- Best fuel efficiency in both manual as well as automatic transmission having mileage of 15-16 kmpl in city and 22-25 kmpl on highway. It comes with 1.0L petrol engine

9) HYUNDAI i20- i20 have Better engine refinement and overall fit and finish. You may get mileage of 10-13kmpl in city and 15-17 on highway.

10) MARUTI SUZUKI ALTO K10 VXI PLUS AMT-The cheapest automatic car available in the market but have less cabin space and seating.

COMPACT SEDANS

1) TATA TIGOR XMA AMT-Tigor AMT have 1.2L petrol engine producing 84Bhp and good boot space of 419L.

2) MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT DZIRE VXI have a mileage of 14-15 kmpl in city and 18-20 kmpl on highway but is not much safer but is selling in good numbers. Also have less service cost then Honda amaze and tata Tigor.

3) HONDA AMAZE is a good family car comes with CVT AUTOMATIC GEARBOX 12-13 in city and 17-18 in highway.

ELECTRIC CARS

1) MG COMET PLAY VARIANT- Comet is a 4-seater Micro Electric car producing 42Bhp and 110Nm of torque. It charges in approx. 7 hours and have 230 km of range.

2) TATA TAIGO EV XT- It is a hatchback style car producing 73Bhp and 114Nm of torque. Tiago have many variants in EV with different ranges. Charging time is approx. 7-8 hours.

Recently Hyundai has launched Creta Facelift in 2024 and for most of the people base model is considered as the most value for money variant as it have almost all basic features but still some of the features are missing which buyers may consider the “ACCESSORIES TO BUY FOR CRETA BASE MODEL WITH PRICES ARE:-

1) Adjoining Led Bar Light which cost around 6,000 Rs (Approx)

2) Top Model Front Grille, which is in chrome finishing. It costs around 6,000 Rs (Approx)

3) ORVMs with auto fold and indicator costs around 10,000 Rs from Hyundai.

4) Rear Camera and 360 Degree Camera costs around 20,000 Rs

5) In base model there is halogen headlamp you can install Top model Led Headlamp from Hyundai only in 20,000 Rs. If you don’t want to spend that much then you can install aftermarket LED Bulb which costs around 1500-3000 Rs.

The throw of halogen bulbs are also good especially in fog and winter season.

6) In base model there are simple looking wheel covers of 16-inch. You can change the alloy wheel design in 25,000 Rs for 16-inch and 40,000 for 17-inch. Or you can also go for aftermarket alloy wheels of your choice but Buy only Branded Tyres and Alloy Wheels with warranty.

9) Roof Rails which costs around 3,500 Rs

14) In base model there is no stereo to play music so you can install Touchscreen Infotainment System with wireless android auto and apple car play which costs around 15,000 Rs.

And if you want normal aftermarket android touchscreen infotainment system then it will cost you around 7,000-12,000 Rs in which you can play youtube, music, radio, rear camera display etc.

Now if we talk about speakers there is no speakers given by the company in base model. You can install any normal speakers which may cost around 1,000-3,000 Rs and if you want More Premium, Clear sound then you can install components with twitters also.

15) Sunglass Holder with cabin lamps will cost around 3,000 Rs.

16) Streering controls will costs around 5,000 Rs but in that cruise control will not work that only a show piece but other than that everything will work.

17) Steering Leather cover which may cost around 400-1500 Rs.
